Police Arrest Two Suspects For Stealing Tricycle In Adamawa

According to the PPRO, the command on November 6, received a report from a resident that his tricycle with Reg. No. YLA 169 VE was stolen by unknown persons.

Two suspects, Zaro Irimiya and Samaila Obadiah, have been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command over the alleged theft of a tricycle in Yola.
 
Spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, November 14, 2023,
 
According to the PPRO, the command on November 6, received a report from one Emmanuel Philibus, a resident of Damare Yelwa Quarters, Yola South Local Government Area that his tricycle with Reg. No. YLA 169 VE was stolen by unknown persons.
 
The Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola, viewed the report seriously. Hence he deployed officers of the Command to detect, trace, arrest and investigate the report,” the statement read.
     
“Detectives of the Command attached to Yola Area Command, on the 14/11/2023 arrested two Suspects identified as Zaro Irimiya and Samaila Obadiah all residents of Salti Village and Yelwa – Damare of Numan/Yola South Local Government Areas in connection to the crime,”

An investigation conducted led to the recovery of the stolen tricycle.
 
The suspects will be prosecuted accordingly, the statement added.
