The Assembly also directed the Chairman, Ibadan North Local Government, popularly known as Agba Egbe to step aside.

 

Taoreed Adedigba, the Chairman of Akinyele Local Government area of Oyo State, has been suspended by the Oyo State House of Assembly.

He was suspended on Tuesday over alleged gross misconduct and misappropriation of funds.

The Assembly, however, directed the Vice-Chairman to take over the council while the Secretary take over the Local Council Development Area One and the Assistant Secretary to Local Council Development Area two.

The Assembly also directed the Chairman, Ibadan North Local Government, popularly known as Agba Egbe to step aside.
