It was gathered that the entrance of the Dan Anyiam stadium, the venue of the rally, was open as early as 8 a.m. for thousands of APC supporters from the 27 local government areas to have access.

Vice President,  Kashim Shettima alongside 14 other governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) stormed Imo state to flag off the rally to herald the campaign ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial polls.

They also declared support and solidarity for Governor Hope Uzodinma who is seeking reelection.
