President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reacted to the demise of Dr. Abdulrahaman Ado Ibrahim, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland.

Ibrahim died peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, October 29, 2023, at the age of 94.

It was gathered that the monarch passed away around 2 a.m. at a hospital in Abuja, and arrangements are currently being made to move the late monarch’s body to Okene, where he will be buried.

In a statement on Sunday by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu condoled with the government and people of Kogi State on the passing of the revered traditional ruler.

The President said the death of the Ohinoyi is a painful loss, describing the late monarch as peace-loving, highly respected, and cerebral.

President Tinubu asked the good people of Kogi State to take solace in the legacy of peace and fellowship left behind by the late monarch.

“The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland was in a class of his own. He was highly respected and admired for his deep insights, wisdom, and sophistication. He had a masterful way of handling issues. He was very knowledgeable and wise.

“May Almighty Allah grant His Majesty Aljannah Firdaus,” the President prayed.

The deceased monarch assumed the office of Ohinoyi of Ebiraland in 1997 after the death of the former Ohinoyi, Sanni Omolori.
