The vice president of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has been reportedly hospitalized.

This was made known by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

According to him, the vice president was in the hospital for a surgical procedure due to pain in his left leg.

The post that he made reads;

“VP Osinbajo is in the hospital today for a surgical procedure on account of a recurrent pain in the leg possibly sustained from an injury while playing squash. His doctors would give an update of the treatment later today.”
