The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has banned Wande Coal’s ‘Iskaba’, Falz’s ‘This is Nigeria’ and Olamide’s ‘See Mary, See Jesus’.

The National Broadcasting Commission has banned Falz’s “This Is Nigeria” song from airing on radio and TV.
The commission said Falz’s line “this is Nigeria; look how we living now. everybody be criminal” is “vulgar”. The song has now been declared “unfit for radio”.
Folaranmi Folayan shared an injunction from the NBC, asking for N100,000 fine from a media organisation for “continuous airing of vulgar and indecent music lyrics”.

The song had earlier caused controversy, with MURIC condemning the use of hijab wearing girls in the video.
