A man suspected to be a cable thief has reportedly been electrocuted to death in Lagos while he was trying to steal some cables from an electrical transformer.
Details about the incident have not been confirmed yet but rumors has it that the yet-to-be-identified young man met his untimely death after power was restored while he was trying to disconnect the cable.
Political Analyst, TeeWhy reacted to the unfortunate incident, saying that the cables in the transformer was recently fixed after the previous ones were being stolen by some unknown thieves in the area.
He said that most of the residents blamed the theft cases on NEPA until the real thief was caught while he was on duty.
A video making rounds on social media captures the cable thief lying behind the transformer lifelessly as residents express their shock at the whole incident.
