The Nigerian rapper, Olamide has come online to defend his new song, ‘Logo Benz’ where he was featured with his former record label artist, Lil Kesh.

The new song which went viral on the internet because of its lyrics where he and Lil Kesh promoted ‘ritual killings and glorifying internet fraudsters’ has been condemned by some to be a bad song.

Meanwhile, the record label boss and father of one has come out to tell everyone why they sang such song. According to him, his meaningful and content-driven songs like "Shine" where he talked about the exploitation of music artistes by their record labels, didn’t make any buzz.

He retweeted a tweet by one of his fans: "RT @_thormee: When @olamide_YBNL does amazing songs like "Shine" that talks about record label executives ripping artistes of it will not trend oo, when it is Logo Benz everybody turn werey for twitter"
