Popular Nigerian singer, Joshua Iniyezo, better known as Solidstar has shared his experience after he battled with substance abuse.

The songwriter who has been away from the limelight is finally coming back after his recovery from drug addiction.

He revealed in the Honestbunchpodcast  how much he suffered owing to his constant usage of Crystal methamphetamine, popularly known as Ice.

Solidstar claimed he was introduced to the harmful substance, three years ago by a group of guys.

He revealed it affected him so badly that one time, he attempted to travel to do the UK without even getting a visa.

The songwriter had even called his brother, asking him to follow him on the journey.

It also led to an altercation between him and a taxi driver, where he hit the driver’s glass because the driver refused to take him to the airport because of his lack of funds.
