Bella Shmurda

Afrobeats star, Bella Shmurda has opened up on why he decided to stop smoking marijuana.

During an interview with the UK’s “In My Opinion” podcast, the singer was invited to reveal a personal detail that some people would find surprising about him.

In response, Bella Shmurda claimed that he doesn’t smoke Igbo (weed). He explained his reasons, saying that he used to smoke but had to quit because of anxiety and fear for the future.

He asserted that he had given up smoking four years ago and had only taken cigarettes and liquor since then.

In response to the question of whether or not smoking weed helped him be more creative, as many have theorized, he said that it was different for him.
