Reno Omokri and Naira Marley

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has opened up on why he decided to interview Marlain Records boss, Naira Marley amidst the allegations levelled against him following the death of his former signee, Mohbad.

He stated that he was also falsely accused in the past, hence his decision to interview the singer to avoid the dangers of hearing from just one side.

He also dismissed rumours that he was paid by Naira Marley to grant the interview.

Reno Omokri volunteered to stand up for Naira Marley against the barrage of accusations and rumours.

Omokri remained steadfast in his decision to give Naira Marley a platform to address these serious allegations despite the attention the interview received, as well as the support and criticism it elicited.
