Ali Modu Sheriff and VP, Kashim Shettima

Ex-Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sherrif paid a visit to the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima.

Recall that Kashim Shettima became a governor of Borno state after the tenure of Ali Modu Sherrif.

Sharing the development, Shettima in a Twitter post on Thursday said he is grateful for the wisdom shared during the meeting with his predecessor.

The Vice President added that the meeting has renewed his commitment to serving the people and working for a better Nigeria.

“I am honoured to host my former principal and predecessor as the Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff. I am not only grateful for the wisdom shared during our meeting, but also bolstered to remain steadfast in my commitment to carrying forward the vision of serving the people and working for the betterment of our nation,” he tweeted.
