The Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have allegedly freezes accounts belonging to members of theAdelekefamily including Nigerian pop superstar Davido.

Ahead of the Osun State gubernatorial election members of the Adeleke Family have come under intense scrutiny by the country’s anti-graft commission EFCC. About seven bank accounts connected to the Adelekes has been frozen as the Osun State gubernatorial election nears, because Senator Ademola Adeleke is contesting in the polls come September 22.

Affected by the EFCC account freeze is Davido. The pop star had earlier raised campaign banners in support of the PDP’s candidate who is his uncle. Davido has been scheduled to perform at three locations in Osun State to sway electorates towards the PDP flag bearer Senate Adeleke.
