Drama As FG Set To Stop Inter-State Travels Over Coronavirus

The minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on Thursday, March 26, revealed that the federal government will suspend inter-state travels by bus and railways throughout Nigeria.

Mohammed, in a press briefing to journalists, stated that this is one of the government’s measures to tackle the spread of coronavirus in the country, Nigerian Tribune reports.

The minister added that the government will also embark on the fumigation of markets, towns and cities all over the nation, adding that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration will not relent in its drive to ensure social distancing among Nigerians.

He went on to say that measures will be taken to increase the number of bed spaces in hospitals.
