Ethiopian, Sintayehu Legese has emerged winner of this year’s 2019 Lagos City Marathon.
By winning the marathon, Sintayehu will go home with a staggering 50 thousand dollars.
Legese finished the race with a time of 2:17:26.
Joshua Kipkorir came second.
The second and third placed runners are expected to go home with $40, 000 and $30, 000 respectively.
