Governor Samuel Ortom has acknowledged that Nigeria is on life support and all will not be well within the nation.

Ortom, who spoke on Wednesday, September 29, whereas paying a condolence go to to the members of the family of the late Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Dr Obadiah Mailafia, mentioned anybody who thought the nation was doing nicely was simply ‘deceiving’ themselve.

Praising Mailafia he mentioned;

“Dr Mailafia was fearless and he stood on the aspect of the truth. Because the Bible says, ‘You need to know the truth and the truth shall set you free.’ Our brother stood for truth and justice.

“Anybody saying that each one is well in Nigeria is simply deceiving himself. Nigeria is on life support. Nigerians have by no means been divided as it’s right now.

“Let everybody know that Nigeria is bigger than any particular person. Nigeria is bigger than all of us. We should group up and work. We should mix our religion in Nigeria with work to be able to salvage our nation from those that search to destroy it. Refusing to mix our religion with work is akin to pumping a punctured tyre.”
