Popular Nigerian actress, Mimi Orjiekwe is mourning the demise of her father, Dr Thomas Chukwuike Orjiekwe.

She announced his death in a press statement on her Instagram page.

The statement reads;

“With gratitude to God for a life well spent, we announce the passing unto glory of our dearly beloved father, brother, husband, and uncle, Ozo Dr. Thomas Chukwuike Orjiekwe (OCHENDO) after a brief Illness.

He was surrounded in his last earthly hours by his loving family that fateful November 4, 2023, a day we shall never forget!

Daddy, words alone cannot express the extent of the hurt we feel following your transition, and how badly we shall miss you!

Go well… OCHENDO!

Details of the burial and funeral programs will be communicated in due course.
