Popular Nigerian singer/songwriter, Yemi Alade has opened up on why she is still relevant in the music industry even after 14 years.

The multi-award-winning musician, who is well-known for her electrifying performances disclosed that she has been relevant in the industry due to insights into her life’s path, resiliency, and unshakable love of music.

Yemi Alade made her musical debut in 2010 with her track “Fimile,” which featured Eldee The Don. Since then, she has developed an incredible career.

Officially, I have been in the industry for 14 years, counting from when I released my first song titled, ‘Fimisile’, and featuring Eldee tha Don,” she said.

“I love music. It is actually the one thing that I am gifted at. I am deeply rooted and connected to music. It has chosen me as its messenger,” Yemi Alade said.

“The music industry has always been tough, even before I showed any interest in it. And, it will continue to be tough. However, it is said that ‘tough times never last but tough people do’. I believe that the strongest will always survive,” Yemi Alade added.
