Seun Kuti

Afrobeats artist, Seun Kuti has departed Nigeria to Switzerland to begin his European Summer tour with his band.

This comes after his faceoff with the Nigerian police.

The singer was granted bail on Tuesday, May 23 after he was held in police custody for eight days for assaulting a police officer on Third mainland bridge in Lagos.

Seun Kuti who was supposed to be in Majorca Island, Spain was unable to attend his concert due to his detention by the police.
