A Port Harcourt resident, Uche Grace, who shared photos of the woman on Facebook at the weekend, said the victim was also stabbed by her husband.

A woman is battling for her life after she was reportedly doused with acid by her husband in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Details of the incident are still sketchy as of the time of filing this report, but it was gathered that it happened at Oyigbo, the outskirts of Port Harcourt

“They say marriage is for better for worse but this is not acceptable honestly….. husband pours wife acid after stabbing her with digger…..all in the name of Jealousy….what a nonsense thinking,” she wrote.
