A young Nigerian man has embarked on a sensitization trek from Osogbo in Osun State to Lagos State.

He revealed that it is aimed at raising funds and creating awareness about mental health issues like depression and trauma.

The human development advocate said he would be trekking across three four states, from Osogbo to Ibadan, Abeokuta and finally Lagos.

A photo of him holding a signboard which explained the reason for his walk, was shared on microblogging platform, Twitter.

”Trekking from Osogbo to Ibadan, Abeokuta and then Lagos to raise funds and awareness on metal health issues; depression, mental stress, trauma, schizophrenia and the increasing suicide cases in the country.

”We are putting on auction a 30 years work of arts dedicated to MKO Abiola,” the tweet.
