Katsina State Governor, Bello Masari has lashed out on the governors of Lagos and Rivers over their plan to gather Value Added Tax of their respective states.
Masari stated each Rivers and Lagos States wouldn’t have large revenues with out contributions from different states.
The governor described the transfer by each Lagos and Rivers States as a joke as a result of they depend on the inhabitants of different states to spice up their economies.
“What’s Lagos with out the remainder of Nigeria? The market Lagos is boasting of depends on the bigger a part of the nation. Benin Republic has a port, Togo has a port; have they got the inhabitants to again up the ports? With out us offering the demand half, what can be Lagos?
