WAEC Increases Exam Fee From N13,950 to N18,000

Registration payment for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has been elevated.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) introduced on Monday that it has elevated the charge from N13,950 to N18,000, starting from 2022.

WAEC Head of Nationwide Workplace (HNO), Mr Patrick Areghan, made this identified whereas asserting the discharge of outcomes of the 2021 WASSCE for college candidates on Monday in Lagos State.

Areghan mentioned the increment was due to the unabating spiral inflation within the nation, worsened by the devastating results of the COVID-19 pandemic.
