A video has emerged online showing police officers assaulting an okada rider as he prostrated and begged them.

 

In the encounter, the officers were seen hellbent on taking away the man’s motorcycle as he pleaded with them not to take his source of income away.

 

However, all his pleading fell on deaf ears as the officers attacked and assaulted him before taking his motorcycle away.

 

Social media users lambasted the officers saying they always forget their humanity during encounter with members of the public.
