The girlfriend of a suspected Yahoo Boy has been rescued by the police after he was on the verge of trying to make use of her for cash rituals in Bayelsa.

It was gathered that the suspect was caught trying to behead the sufferer alongside SETRACO Street, Amassoma/Ogobiri axis of the state on Tuesday morning, September 21.

The lady, stated to be a scholar of the Niger Delta College Wilberforce Island (NDU) was thankfully rescued by youths of Ogobiri group and police operatives.

In accordance with a publish by Kokobaiye Abeki, the Particular Adviser to Governor Diri on New Media, the suspect who has been courting the lady, lured her to Setraco Street alongside Ogobiri-Toruebeni drive.

“After he succeeded in roping her arms and legs, he was on the verge of slicing her neck when the savour of her nightmare (Ogobiri Youths) who traced his earlier motion by means of a revelation from a close-by individual caught him along with the efforts of the lads of the Operation Doo-Akpo NPF particular squad.” Abeki wrote.

The suspect has since been handed over to the Nigeria Police for additional investigation.
