The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji is dead.

The monarch died on the age of 93 within the early hours of Sunday, January 2, in response to Punch.

The monarch who dominated over 11 native authorities areas that make up of Ibadan died less than one month after the loss of life of Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi.

Sources on the Popoyemoja palace of the Olubadan stated that the Olubadan died on the College Faculty Hospital, Ibadan.

Adetunji, who was topped the forty first Olubadan on March 4, 2017, was born on August 26, 1928. He was the first of 17 kids of his mother and father.
