My Dad Made Me Sign Undertaking When I Dropped Out In Final Year – Fireboy DML

Adedamola Adefolahan, a Nigerian artist popularly known as Fireboy DML, has disclosed that his father forced him sign an agreement before he was allowed to leave school and move to Lagos.

While speaking with Zeze Millz about how he got his start in music as a studio errand boy, the singer of “Vibration” said this.

As a “studio rat,” Fireboy claimed he was spending more time in the studio, which was affecting his academic performance

He admitted that after some time, the industry executives in music realized he could write, which is how he got his start writing songs for artists.

Fireboy later told his father that he intended to drop out of school in his final year and move to Lagos.

He found it strange that his father did not complain, but instead had him make a promise to always obey him and, after two years, to do as he is told if he doesn’t blow.
