Man Electrocuted To Death While Trying To Fix Faulty Cables Under The Rain In Lagos [Video]

A yet-to-be-identified man has met his untimely death after he was reported to have risked his very life to fix a faulty electrical cable in Ikorodu in Lagos State.

According to reports, the young man climbed a ladder to fix the faulty electrical cable under the rain and unfortunately events didn’t turn to favor him as he lost his life in the procces.

A video making rounds on social media captured the moment he was being brought down from the ladder as some of his residents bewail over the whole incident.

In other news, a 53-year-old woman identified as Chinyere Nwozu and her accomplice have reportedly been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command for reportedly stealing a one-week-old baby in the state.

According to reports, Chinyere was spotted carrying the baby around 9 AM on Tuesday 25th July 2022. Her refusal to breastfeed the crying baby raised suspicions and the public alerted the police at Sango Ota divisional headquarters.

The spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirming the incident stated that “upon the information, the DPO Sango Ota, SP Dahiru Saleh, detailed his detectives to the scene where the woman was promptly arrested. 

Upon Interrogation, Chinyere confessed that she is not the biological mother of the baby but she bought the baby at an amount of N500,000 from one Ngozi Akaeme somewhere in the Agege area of Lagos state.
