An unidentified woman was stripped and paraded for allegedly stealing a fowl in Urua Anwa, Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state

Many social media users have condemned the babarous act.

Activist and advocates have been campaigning for the end of jungle justice in Nigeria and this development won’t help the cause.

In the photos, the woman was pictured with the fowl tied around her back while being paraded in the village by some youths.
