Following the rising crime price, the Kano Movie Censorship Board has positioned a ban on displaying or promoting motion pictures portraying vices comparable to drug dependancy, kidnappings, and telephone snatching within the state.

The Board Government Secretary, Ismaila Naaba Afakallah, mentioned the ban has develop into a necessity to curb these vices.

He mentioned: “Henceforth, we is not going to enable movies displaying Kidnappings, drug dependancy and GSM telephones snatching which has now taken toll on Kano residents.”
