UFC star Kamaru Usman has revealed how he was scammed $60,000 by a beautiful lady.
The champion while making the revelation, mentioned the lady promised to invest his money for him.
The promotion’s pound-for-pound king is awaiting details of his next title defence with British star Leon Edwards currently in pole place to take a shot.
Welterweight Usman has earned tens of millions throughout his rise in one of many promotion’s most competitive divisions.
Nevertheless he has revealed that the rip-off occurred after he was instructed to invest his cash however did not know what he was doing with it.
“All the things I always heard, ‘Yeah, you have to put money available in the market,” Usman instructed GQ on a YouTube video. “‘You have to make investments on this; invest, make investments.’
“I’m like, ‘Alright.’ I didn’t actually know what I was doing. So, a good friend introduced me to some girl who invests for you. So, she approaches me. We have a dialog. We speak. She was enticing. In fact, nothing occurred on that front.
“However she was enticing. So, it was very simple to be distracted. Give her about nearly $60,000; haven’t seen that cash since. Yeah.
“I don’t assume I did my due diligence so far as the homework and the research behind this particular person. Gave her about 60 bands, and [the money] just flew away.”
