Officials of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps aka Kai have seized goods worth thousands of naira from traders at the CMD/Magodo Road.

A clip of the incident was released on Monday, September 25, by the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab.

The clip showed KAI officials loading the seized goods in their truck.

“Let’s be fast, we are packing everything,” a voice ordered as some KAI officials hurriedly loaded the food items in their truck.”

The video has since stirred mixed reactions among many online. While some applauded the act, others knocked the officials, tagging their act as stealing.

Meanwhile, the seized items have been donated to the Remand Centre for juveniles and homes for the less privileged.
