This comes hours after the youngest son of Afrobeats icon, Fela Kuti stopped him from travelling, stating that he has a case to answer for threatening his life and that of his family.

The man had initially put up a tough front and stood on his words, but at some point bowed to pressure by apologizing to Seun Kuti.

Taking responsibility for his actions, he stated in a recorded video that he should be held accountable should any harm come to Seun Kuti in Chicago.

“If anything happens to Seun, my name is Solomon Idowu; I am a citizen of the United States, and I live in Chicago. If anything happens to Seun in Chicago I’ll be responsible. This is because of some miscommunications between us
,” he stated.

He, however, offered a hand of friendship to the Seun which was immediately rejected.
