Villarreal will aim to play the role of the spoiler this afternoon for Madrid, although they still have to win to ensure that they qualify for the Europa League next term. Unai Emery’s men sit in seventh place and need to better either Real Sociedad or Real Betis’ result today.

However, the club will also have one eye on their Europa League final against Manchester United next week where they can secure a Champions League berth.
