Maurizio Sarri has made a couple of changes from the win against Watford by bringing in Barkley and Giroud for Kovacic and the injured Pedro, who misses out on the 18-man squad entirely. Barkley’s return to the starting line-up is effectively a like-for-like change on the left of Chelsea’s midfield three, but Giroud’s inclusion alters the visitors’ set-up somewhat as Hazard – the two-goal hero at Vicarage Road – will shift into his favoured wide position. Morata is back in the squad following a recent absence, but he must watch on from the bench.
