Zidane has made three big calls in his side from Los Blancos’ draw against Valencia. In Marcelo’s absence, the Frenchman makes another switch at left-back as Mendy replaces Nacho from the weekend, with the latter dropping to the bench. Modric joins Nacho on the bench as Casemiro gets the nod to start in midfield. Perhaps the most significant move is the one to start Bale in the final third ahead of Rodrygo and Vincius Junior. The Welshman operates alongside Benzema and Isco ahead of the two young Brazilians as Eden Hazard remains sidelined.

Barcelona have made one change to their side from their draw against Sociedad. Semedo returns to the fold at full-back, which sees Sergi Roberto move forward into the midfield. Busquets drops to the bench to accomodate the switch from Valverde. The Catalan club start with the big three up front as Suarez leads the line flanked either side by Griezmann and Messi.
